Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Frank D — 04 Feb 2012
A completely stupid film. This has one of the most unintelligent plots I have seen from such a critically acclaim science fiction film. Also the majority of the characters are unbearable. The script is filled with juvenile humor that would be hilarious for a 13 year old.
For those of us who aren't undergoing the emotional roller coaster that is puberty though this film's only appeal is the sights. Honestly it is quite a good looking movie. The action is fun, and the special effect are good.
Its like Bladerunner if they took out all the gritty noire drama, and added in Chris Tucker instead. In short don't bother. You would probably be more productive bashing your head against the wall.
I know the would have lost less brain cells doing that than watching the stupid movie.
