Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Mitch H — 16 Feb 2013
A cab driver ends up at the centre of a search for a legendary cosmic weapon. While the plot makes the film feel like a childish and more over the top version of the science fiction classic Blade Runner, the visual style is admirable and memorable, and at least offers some sort of satisfaction in a film that is otherwise outdated and unoriginal.
