Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Theirrelephants — 23 Jun 2020
One of the best movies I've ever seen but if you asked me why, I wouldn't be able to point to any one thing. At first glance it's just a generic, mediocre attempt at a scifi film with questionable casting decisions (bruce willis, really?).
But something about it's separate parts comes together for what is an unforgettable experience. Whether it's the blue alien opera singer or chris tucker's over the top performance, you'll rarely have a dull moment when you watch this film.
