Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Zena K — 27 May 2012
Filled with great characters, great sets, amazing visual effects for its time, The Fifth Element is a cult classic in my book. For real sci fi fans, this movie incorporated possible futuristic styles without trying to hard to be serious about it, which made it all better.
Many people say that the large amount of characters takes away from the story or makes the movie too scattered, but I think Besson did a great job at linking all the characters together.
