Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Nick A — 04 Dec 2007
I saw this movie as a kid, so really loved it and the slapstick didn't bother me the first time. it bothers me a bit now, but I can get past it.
It's beautifully costumed and photographed. the acting is quite convincing in places, roman polanski has a vulnerable daftness that quite works for me.
Very atmospheric, and moving in places. it takes you away.
Oh, and can't forget the haunting music!
