Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Pete S — 18 Jul 2012
Charmingly fun tale of a young apprentice to an aging vampire killer and their efforts to rescue a maiden snatched before them. Polanski directs and co-stars as the young man and very ably creates a slapstick world of run around farce.
The gentle humour is genuinely funny and the use of environment and myth expertly combine. One of my favorite vampire movies that remind me of a lost Carry-On classic.
