Review of The Favourite (2018) by Sara S — 18 Dec 2018
The Favourite was not my favorite movie this year by FAR. I enjoyed the rivalry between Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz and the brilliant performance by Olivia Coleman as Queen Anne, BUT I was confused throughout and often struggled to stay awake.
The writing used more curse words than any period piece ever made, which got a rise/laughter from the audience. Overall even with the good performances, I didn't enjoy this too much.
