Well I was expecting a turd and got something that was semi-interesting. It was of course ludicrous in every way, not just the stunts and plot but also the character choices. That Charlize Theron needed Vin Diesel at all.
.. well we wouldn't have a movie without that I suppose. Fortunately the dialogue wasn't too atrocious so it kept this in fresh territory. For myself I'd rank this 3rd in the franchise, below Fast Five and the original.
Overall this series is still... subpar.
