Review of The Farewell (2019) by Keanex — 02 Sep 2020
I enjoyed The Farewell because it felt like I was getting an intimate look into a culture that I know little about, from the view a family struggling with a complicated subject. I am quickly pulled into the thick of it, with many endearing and honest scenes.
While I enjoyed The Farewell, there was something that kept me from totally enjoying it. This is not the fault of the movie, but more likely a state of mind that I was in that kept me unfocused. I would watch this again to see if I gained more from it.
