Review of The Family Way (1966) by Joe B — 13 Sep 2006
A British film set in 1960's working class England about a newlywed couple trying to make it through the early days with constant bad luck. The film provides light entertainment with a simple plot which allows you to get to know the characters fairly well.
The film also makes a subtle statement about the conditions and social expectations of the time. Good acting and mild humour carries the film through to be quite entertaining! A must see British film!
