Review of The Family Stone (2005) by Matt B — 04 Apr 2009
I don't know that I would describe Sarah Jessica Parker's character as an ice queen. She was nervous and intimidated, trying too hard to fit in. She had a lot to learn and I think the family taught it to her.
It was funny to me how similar this family is to my own. My favorite scene was when Diane Keaton told her deaf, gay son that he was the most normal person in their family. It shows that no matter what your lifestyle, everyone brings their own idiosyncrasies to the table.
