Review of The Family Man (2000) by Ian H — 25 Nov 2008
Sentimental - schmaltzy, even - but also hilarious and thought-provoking, all at once. It seems like the only thing Nic Cage does well these days is a kind of manic befuddlement, and he's pitch-perfect here.
Plus, any movie with Don Cheadle in it gets an extra star. One of the movies I break out every Christmas season.
