Its movies like this that make you dismiss critical opinion. No its not a groundbreaking movie and it might be predictable, but damn this is just a good movie in spite of all that. A simple idea with a cast that performs in a way that gets you vested in the movie. Oversentimental? I think it just works. Unlike other movies that might be of the same ilk, this one is well executed. It doesn't get old, and holding up after so many years - this is one that should be added to your movie collection.
