The Family Fang is a 2015 American comedy-drama film directed by Jason Bateman and based on the 2011 novel of the same name. The film stars Bateman, Nicole Kidman and Christopher Walken.

Hubby and wife left this movie fascinated yet unsure what we had watched. The premise is intriguing, but it only works for so long. Kidman, Bateman, and Walken are fantastic. We would strongly suggest never watching trailers, but the trailer to this movie gives away a late second act gear shift which we think accounts for much of the hate to this movie. A touch predictable in the final act, this is more a game of clue than anything else. Despite it wandering we both recommended this movie. Hubby: 8.5/Wife 7.3 Final Score: 7.9.
