The Falling was so disappointing.
The film is touching on interesting themes, but just ...falling a bit short.
It was a typical C.S.M. girl's B.A. dissertation on Hysteria turned into a film. Very self-indulgent, one-dimensional and poorly researched. I think the film would have benefitted from having a few extra hands in the mix to help.
It's such a shame to write this review. I was so excited to watch this film because I love "Picnic on Hanging Rock" and "Innocence".
Also.......the soundtrack was the worst thing I have ever heard.
