As anachronistic as its remake (gladiator). however solid entertainment for everyone who appreciates a good chariot race, some rattling shortsword or a stiff senate speech. besides, watching Alec Guiness as wise emperor Marcus Aurelius you can already feel Obiwan's spirit - may the force be with him ;).
