The acting is so-so, the writing is not that great (some of the dialog is kind of ridiculous), and the plot is bizarre/somewhat uninteresting. but it the technical aspects of the movie are PHENOMENAL, i've only seen a handful of movies that are so stunning.
the costume and set design (if that is the right term) are great, and the visuals are beautiful. watch this movie for no other reasons than because there is no other movie like it.
