Though many feel the director is too self indulgent in visuals and lacks a story I couldn't disagree more. I think it is very easy to say that the movie is lacking in plot or writing because people are so used to being spoonfed stories almost entierly through dialouge.
The visuals in any movie should tell just as much of the story as the dialouge, and this movie they compliment each other incredibly well. Exteremly ambitious and wonderfully executed.
