Review of The Fall (2006) by Calvin S — 11 Apr 2011
The ethereal landscapes and beautiful cinematography of 2008's The Fall are dazzling and impressive. While the coping-fantasy world created by the words and minds of the two protagaonists doesn't always coenside organically with the melodrama of the out-of-fantasy reality, the film has a charming story to tell.
A lot of the then five year-old Untaru's parts seem largely improvised, but Lee Pace seems natural and by the end of The Fall, identifiable too. RATING: 8/10.
