Review of The Fall (2006) by Amanda W — 18 Feb 2012
I suppose The Fall is known as a love-it-or-hate-it film, though personally I can't imagine anyone hating it. Anyone who says the narrative is too fragmented or that the film rests on "unrealistic" beauty has entirely missed the point.
Actually sitting down and thinking through the ideas presented in this beautiful and touching film, in my mind, can only result in the kind of love and respect we reserve for classics.
