Review of The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) by Christina M — 25 Mar 2008

Besides starring a top notch cast, who do a decent enough job (didn't exactly get me off the rockers), the movie is a sensitive and considerate backstage insight into the hopelessness of 2nd, 3rd and beyond level show-biz.

I feel for the characters and I think the writer of this has outdone themselves on portraying that surreal world of wannabe's and guys, who hang on to their dreams to no avail/success. One of my all-time favorites.
