Review of The Experiment (2010) by J L — 24 Sep 2010
I really freakin' loved this movie! Of course, they took the movie's plot from "The Stanford Experiment", which took place in 1971, but I enjoyed how I was tuned into my own feelings of authority vs. the anarchist made me a part of the violent animal kingdom.
I yelled out and called the characters all names of the book. I was in the movie! Adrien Brody brought back a little of his old role of Jack Starks in "The Jacket" and Forrest Whitaker is a natural whack job indeed. He plays a nut way too well.
While watching, I immediately thought of the Chilean trapped miners. Its a matter of time before they all turn on one another and walk away not realizing what they underwent through extreme conditions and the enemy of their own minds.
