Harrowing remake of Germany's "Das experiment" in 2001. It centers on a behavioral research study group in a simulated prison environment. Whatever you think may go wrong, in fact does. This apparantly went straight to dvd, but delivers two powerhouse performances from Oscar-winners Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker.
Movie wasn't perfect and I haven't seen the original, however it kept me glued to the screen. Recommended *** out 0f ****.
