A remake of a german film that was based on a book based on real events about a psychological test that went seriously wrong. It shows quite nicely how the human behavior can go haywire, when some certanties, like freedom are suddenly taken out of the picture.
So storywise it was quite interesting and there is a very good performance from Forest Whitaker, but in the end it just falls short. The ending was very bad & stupid and it really didn't make a lot of sense.
