A really exciting, fast-paced and awesome action movie. The story here is kept very simple to emphasize the action. The film has the ultimate action star cast headed up by Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham.
As much as I enjoyed the movie, there were a few flaws however. A lot of the actors including Jet Li, Bruce Willis and Randy Couture feel very underused and underdeveloped. The film also does appear to be quite short which perhaps explains why all the characters dont get an equal amount of screen time.
It also takes itself a bit to seriously and the cgi effects are rather bad. But, if it is an extremely over the top actionfest you're after, The Expendables more than delivers.
