Review of The Exorcist III (1990) by Bannister B — 29 Jul 2014
One of the most underrated horror films ever, the Exorcist 3 is one of cinema's few brilliant sequels. Written and directed by the Author of the original Exorcist novel, and screenplay, it follows perfectly on the heels of the first film.
Brad Dourif gives the performance of a lifetime and George C. Scott is at his best. Unlike the shameful, and pathetic trend in recent horror films, Exorcist 3 is all story and style. The film relies on good acting, strong characters and engaging dialogue to deliver genuine horror, in the classic style.
