In the wrong hands, a story like this can come across as just a lot of nonsense, an insult to anyone watching it. Such is not the case here, the result being an intelligent, well-balanced approach to a fascinating question.
The acting by all concerned is top-notch, with special honors going to Laura Linney, one of the best actresses around.
