Review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) by Joseph C — 13 Jan 2012

I have seen so many movies about exorcisms, demons, possession, etc. that, honesly, the genre was getting to be quite boring. But this film was different. It presented a fresh new view on supernatural horror the likes of which have never been seen.

Almost everything about this film was terrifying. Add to it the fact that it is a true story, and there you have it: easily one of the most frightening movies ever made. I won't watch it again for that reason: I'm just too afraid to do so.

It scared the living hell out of me. Definitely a must see for those of you who have not yet. It's a thrilling ride and a hell of a good time!
