Review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) by Tania M — 16 Dec 2010
There are alot of things that you can like and dislike about this film.
I think that it was too pasted together, it just jumpes too much between the past and present that you never really feel part of the film and you have to keep reminding yourself what has happened so far.
I did not care for the soundtrack much.
But as a story, it was riverting. I found that the first half was scary as hell, but somewhere after that it just looses it's pace.
For a religious person, this might be too much. But a fan of Horror should watch this.
Something about it creeps me out, but I just can't seem to put my finger on what it is.
What I did like, is that you don't see much in-your-face effects and gore. I always appreciate a horror that can give a scare without flash and bang.
It's not a classic, but there are good parts.
