Although it wasn't visually shocking, the film definately plays out the terrifying concept of demonic possesion extremely well. This is a must-see for fans of this genre, it is important as it justifies the horror of exorcism stories through use of simple but effective ideas and concepts which films like The Exorcist have discredited through it's alterior method of visual gore.
The film is utterly shuddering and definately one of the most memorable horrors I've ever watched.
