Review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) by Dan B — 10 Oct 2012
Intriguing blend of horror and courtroom drama that sadly succeeds as neither. After a promising start, the movie collapses into a swamp of pseudo-religious hogwash, while the MDF dialogue and complete absence of characterisation make it difficult to care about whatâ??s happening on screen, leaving the mind free to wonder how much better this story might have been handled in an episode of LA Law or Boston Legal.
