Part horror, part court room drama, and entirely excellent. this is easily one of the best horror films of its generation. excellent performances from linney, wilkinson, and scott, wonderful cinematography, and well crafted editing.
the film creates an awareness of the battle between good and evil in a way paralleled by few films, and the feeling I was left with at the end of the film was one that I would do well to remember.
