People like to defend the not-so-great star wars movies as "kids movies". Sorry, but this is the only star wars movie that is just for children. It does it without being a crappy movie too. It's well shot on beautiful film-stock.
The costumes and props are great. Warwick Davis does an amazing job reprising the role of Wicket. The pacing and story are all very clean. I would watch this over the Phantom Menace or the Last Jedi any day of the year.
