White it's not a perfect movie and has some flaws, essentially its pretty excellent both acting and story wise. Gemma Arterton is awesome and so is Dominic Cooper and they occupy the majority of the movie.
It's a story that needs to be told. Not everyone wants the same suburban life that is thrust upon us as if there are no alternatives to the stereotypical family life. This perspective has been portrayed before in movies, Revolutionary Road comes to mind.
The characters are always torn because they believe there is something wrong with them rather than the flawed stereotypical married with children life we're expected to both wholly accept and admire.
