Simple, thoroughly undemanding entertainment that plays like an airport novel and is full to the brim with "sh-t that only happens in movies". How many people seriously talk to themselves out loud in a Lyft? Silly.

But even though Denzel sleepwalks through his performance, he remains charismatic the way that a true movie star can be and carries the movie, along with some fun action set pieces which are at least shot more creatively than anything in Taken.

If you know what you're looking for and what youre getting into, there are certainly worse ways to spend your time.
