This movie is everything one could want in an action thriller that depends on the concept of justice being delivered in an otherwise failed system. Washington brings a believable righteousness to the film that most vigilante movies lack.
He is still eye candy and his smile and laugh are the stuff dreams of made of . . .a handsome, strong, and intelligent man . . .I gave it 5 stars because it delivers a satisfying message that good will triumph over evil .
. . Washington's personal commitment to the qualities of honesty and decency shine through and make him admired despite being brutal . . .I am looking forward to an Equalizer 3 . . .
