Well done B Movie. I liked the real (non-CGI) scenes far more than CGI. It was a better fit for the lead characters quiet demeanor, and were the believable portions of the film, IMO.
I agree that's a weird way of looking at an action flick, but I can't shake it, just like I couldn't right in the theater. Not sure this is better than Death Wish. Portions of this are pretty close to "A", more than Death Wish, but the whole isn't superior. I like Denzel more than a bit, and don't regret the time spent watching this one on a rare 90 + degree PNW Summer Day.
