Loved the first movie as it was one cohesive story that showed violence in order add something of value. This showed violence for the sake of violence, so it is more of an action movie and with that all of the drawbacks that come with it.
A paper thin plot with no 'twists' that you cannot see coming a mile away. So come for the action not story and you will be satisfied.
