Review of The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain (1995) by Ross C — 15 Feb 2009
Wonderfully sentimental take on the old Welsh stereotype of simple folk with limited surnames and simpler solutions. Having read the book I had to see the and thanks to the simple tale, transferred very well to the screen.
Full of familiar faces and great characters this is a film that celebrates the uniqueness of being British.
