Review of The English Patient (1996) by Juan Manuel A — 26 Jan 2011
Me recuerda a las grandes pelÃculas de Lean o de Hataway............I had occasion to listen the soundtrack before to see the film. It was magnificent, full of sensitivity and well aligned with period songs (cheek to cheek).
Bravo by Gabriel Yared. I knew then that the film would be fantastic. With respect to the film Minghella to say at this point, won 9 Oscars including best film. Movie lyrical and romantic drama that leaves traces.
Good use of flashbacks and a final half hour of the best I've seen in movies. It is slow but not tired. You also have to be to not get tired. Magnificent Fiennes, Binoche y Scott Thomas. I reminds me of the great films of Lean or Hataway.
