Review of The English Patient (1996) by Meghna P — 30 Jul 2013
Whatever importance is in this story of The English Patient gets lost under the extremely slow pacing, unexplained double storyline, lack of entertainment and the fact that I was so bored that I was more eager to watch the Hulk Hogan movie Suburban Commando by 40 minutes in.
The acting was good though, especially Willem Dafoe. Also, the cinematography and makeup was good, but nevertheless The English Patient is an incredibly boring film and one of the dumbest to have won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
