Review of The Enemy Below (1957) by Tony M — 11 Sep 2009
Throw Robert Mitchum, Curt Jurgens, and Theodore Bikel into a U-boat movie and you get this! Mitchum is appropriately valorous at the American captain, Jurgens is full of angst and nihilism like his character in "The Longest Day," and Bikel is almost miscast - he's a great character actor - but still fills his role with personality.
