This might be the most confusing highly rated movie I've ever seen. Not confused by the movie (although if you could convince me it made sense I'd give you credit), but confused as to who is getting paid to say this movie deserves 97% on the most brutal review platform online.

Are we serious here? Did we all watch the same film? This thing was two hours of hack acting, a barely scrapped together plot peppered with weak callbacks to try and make the story seem stronger. Nothing is given any care in this film.

These filmmakers seem like they got half way through a joint and just said "sure let's make it". Poor direction, even worse execution. I would give this movie a pass if it had been a daytime Sci-fi channel flick.

But barely even then. Both my parents fell asleep and they probably got more enjoyment out of that than I did staying awake. Weak payoff, horribly weak ending. Corny and brittle as hell story wise. Why do people take cool plots and just ruin them? Save yourself the trouble.

I mean that. Severely disappointed in how many people think this movie was "deep" or "mind blowing".
