Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by Chandler H — 11 Nov 2015
A perfect movie. Beyond chronicling an interesting time in the life of David Foster Wallace, this also serves as an introspection into the most basic of human emotions: jealousy, fear, sadness. Jason Segal and Jesse Eisenberg are each excellent, however, it is the dialogue, flowing back-and-forth, rippling with simple truths, that makes this film such a pleasure to watch.
The opposite of snappy Sorkin dialogue by taking time and slowly weaving insights in a relaxed, casual manner befitting of Wallace himself.
