The End of the Tour is a brilliant film. It explores many ideas and themes, like loneliness, jealousy, and friendship. Jason Segel is exceptional as David Foster Wallace. I've never seen Segel this good.
He is, in my opinion, worthy of at least an Academy Award nomination. Jesse Eisenberg also is very strong in his role as Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky. Segel and Eisenberg have great chemistry. They work very well together.
The film has an amazing screenplay. The dialogue feels so natural. This is a very complex and thought provoking film. It is a very unique and special film. I am now very interested in the life and work of David Foster Wallace.
