Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by David F — 09 Jan 2016
Quite possibly the best film of the year, The End of the Tour focuses entirely on a five day discussion between two men, one an acclaimed author, the other an aspiring one. The conversation that ensues is one that instantly grabs you and doesn't let go.
Live, love, success, and failure are all featured in ways that scream mortality and humanity, making for, as Eisenberg's Davud Lipsky says, "the best conversation I've ever had.".
