Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by Jesse D — 15 Dec 2017
Incredibly moving and thought-provoking. There's a clear and heartbreaking sadness present in Jason Segel's eyes - who in turn, gives a remarkably underrated performance as the late David Foster Wallace.
It's a philosophically, cerebral film about two perceptively clashing writers embarking on a five day journey to uncover the truth behind Wallace's take on life, fame, and "treasuring his normal guyness".
One wants what the other already has, but does he really?
