Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by Mark A — 21 Jan 2016
A fascinating character study of two very interesting people, and the weird friendship they form over the course of five days. It's also very sad and more than a bit lonely. Jason Segal and Jesse Eisenberg are perfect, oth putting on what could be the best performances of their careers, they also work exceptionally well together.
There isn't any real plot here, just an exploration of these two people and the rocky ups and downs of their friendship. A great film, plain and simple.
