Review of The End of the Tour (2015) by Kevin L — 02 Sep 2015
Having never heard of or read any of David Foster Wallace's books I probably can't appreciate this movie as others might. I did like this movie, without the guns blazing, or heavy drama this movie was cerebral and made me rethink some of my perspectives on things.
The acting by Eisenberg and Segal meshed into each other. In not going to say it will be nominated for an Academy Award but it's worth the watch if you have the time and the patience to really absorb was is being said and going on.
I must say that after having watched this I would like to read Wallace's book Infinite Jest to see what all of the critical acclaim was about. It also had me reading up on Wallace after watching to figure out who this guy was.
So my education continues.
