Review of The End of the Affair (1999) by Jennifer S — 16 May 2008
Well, I guess I give this film 3 stars for trying (and the, umm, *educational* footage of Ralph Fiennes XD ;D), but honestly, it was pretty dull. Characters were all pretty much a waste of the various actors' talents (Jason Isaacs as a priest? plz =P), and the plot just goes round in circles.
You can tell how this movie is going to end about five minutes in, so pretty low on the satisfaction counter. But, if you are a rabid Ralph Fiennes fan like me, then it's still worth at least one viewing for the aforementioned illuminating sequences.
